Eligibility (Subject to periodical revision by the University)
- All candidates seeking admission to undergraduate (UG) courses must have passed the Higher Secondary (+2) examination of Tamil Nadu or equivalent 10+2 or Pre-degree including C.B.S.E. which has been recognized by the Bharathiar University
- For admission to P.G. courses, the candidates must have passed 3 year degree course after Higher Secondary of 12 year duration.(10+2+3)

Age Limit
For U.G. Course: The Upper age limit for admission to UG Courses is 21 years as on 1st July. For SC/ST/BC/MBC/DNC candidates and women candidates the age limit is relaxed by 3 years. For other communities, the Principal can relax up to 3 years on the base of Merit and 5 years for physically handicapped as per G.O. Ms.239, dt. 3.9.93
Important Notice
Admission is subject to verification of marks certificate by Director of Government Examinations and if the marks certificate is found to be Bogus, admission is liable to be cancelled, besides criminal action being taken.

RULES AND REGULATIONS:
General rules:
1. Ragging is strictly prohibited in the institution and students shall abide by TAMIL NADU PROHIBITION OF RAGGING ACT NO 7 of 1997.
2. Eve-teasing of any form is lieu to punishment as per TAMIL NADU PROHIBITION OF EVE-TEASING ORDIANCE, 1993.
3. Strict action will be taken against students engaging in violence, use of intoxicants, playing cards and gambling causing damage, indiscipline, non payment of fees etc.
4. The college property shall be handled with care and preserved.
Hostel rules:
1. Inmates shall not entertain fellow students or outsiders in the hostel premise.
2. Inmates shall not stay in the hostel during the class hours without the permission of the Resident warden.
3. Damaging the hostel properties is viewed serious.
4. Male students shall not absent himself between 8:30 pm and 6:00 am. For girls the timing is 6:00pm to 6:00 am.
5. Written request regarding the leave of the student should be handed over to the Deputy warden.
6. Inmates should not conduct any meeting or form groups or committees without the permission of the warden.
